TERMS OF SERVICE
Reservation Terms of Service
The following terms of service outline the rights and responsibilities that pertain to your reservation of a room through any of our available platforms (including our website, central reservation number, or mobile site).
As a guest or customer, you will be required to acknowledge your agreement to these terms of service at the time of making a reservation.
1. Bookings
To secure your room, kindly follow the instructions provided on the website or mobile site (if applicable).
Please note that the minimum age requirement for making a booking is 18 years. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Upon check-in, a valid identification may be requested.
In order to confirm your reservation, it may be necessary to provide your credit or debit card information.
Prior to finalising your booking, please ensure that all the details provided are accurate and complete. We cannot be held responsible for any delays or issues arising from incorrect information provided.
We will notify you of our acceptance of your reservation by sending an email to the email address you provide during the reservation process. The contract between us, regarding the provision of your room and any additional services added to your reservation, will be established upon receiving this email confirmation from us.
It is your sole responsibility to choose the services and determine their suitability for your needs. We cannot be held accountable in this regard.
Please note that the customer does not have the entitlement to request specific rooms.
Event Sleeps and the Customer are the Parties to the contract. If the order was placed by a third party on behalf of the Customer, that party will be responsible for all obligations that arise from the hotel accommodation contract.
The rates published online do not apply to Group Bookings. A Group Booking is considered as a booking for 6 rooms or more with the same or similar arrival and departure dates.
If you have any complaints regarding your hotel reservation, please get in touch with Event Sleeps.
2. Room Rates
Room rates are charged per room, per night and include VAT at the current rate at the time of booking. In the event of a change in VAT rate between booking and stay dates, we reserve the right to adjust the VAT rate accordingly, while ensuring that the total price remains unchanged. Additional charges for meals, drinks, and other amenities are not covered in the room rate, but can be added to your reservation during booking or enjoyed during your stay.
3. Cancellation Policy
Your right to cancel:
Cancellation policies vary among our partner hotels and are provided to you prior to booking. For example, a 48-hour cancellation policy allows you to cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time. If you cancel within the specified timeframe and have prepaid with a debit/credit card, a full refund will be issued to the same card within 5 business days. Be sure to keep the cancellation reference as evidence of your cancellation.
Following the expiration of the cancellation period, the entire reservation will become completely non-refundable, encompassing any meals and/or extra services. This cancellation fee is intended to cover the costs incurred by the hotel due to the last-minute cancellation and is not related to any services provided.
Guests who check out before their scheduled departure date will be billed for the remaining nights as per the original reservation confirmation.
If the hotel and the Customer have mutually agreed in writing on a specific date for a cancellation of the contract without any charges or damages, the Customer has the right to cancel the contract before that date without any payment or compensation claims from the hotel. However, if the Customer fails to cancel the contract in writing by the agreed date, their right to cancellation will no longer be valid. In the case of a group booking, the cancellation terms will be communicated to you during the reservation process.
Our right to cancel:
In the event of your breach of contract, we have the right to cancel your reservation at any time. This cancellation will take immediate effect and will be communicated to you in writing, which may include email. There are two circumstances under which we may exercise this right:
If we cancel your reservation due to your fault, we retain our legal rights regarding your breach of contract. If your stay has not yet begun or is ongoing, the payment made or to be made for the room will be considered a cancellation charge and will not cover any services provided.
Events out of our control:
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as industrial action, explosion, outbreak of disease, health and safety issues, fire, flooding, failure of power and/or water supplies, or emergency evacuation, we may have to cancel your reservation. If this occurs, we will promptly notify you and take the following actions:
Please note that we will not be held liable or responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations that are caused by events outside of our control. Rest assured, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
We retain the right to:
Modify your room assignment and/or relocate you to a different hotel at any time during your stay, without any specific cause. Additionally, we may cancel any reservation(s) if there are health and safety concerns or if the hotel is fully or partially closed. If we need to cancel your booking(s), we will make every effort to inform you and provide a complete reimbursement to the original debit/credit card within 5 business days.
4. Your information
We ensure the safety and security of your information. For a comprehensive understanding of how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy located at https://eventsleeps.com/privacy-policy/. By making a reservation, you are giving consent (on behalf of yourself and all members of your group) to this processing, and you guarantee the accuracy of all information you provide.
5. Occupancy
Please ensure that you do not exceed the maximum occupancy limit for the room assigned to you.
Please note that children under the age of 18 are not allowed to stay in the hotel unless accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also staying in the hotel.
Unless there is a written agreement stating otherwise, you will not be able to access your room before the designated check-in time.
On the day of your departure, please vacate your room(s) and make them available to the hotel no later than the specified check-out time, unless you have arranged for a late check-out. Please be aware that additional charges may apply if you fail to leave your room on time.
If the hotel provides parking facilities, please be aware that it does not constitute a safekeeping agreement, even if a fee is charged. The hotel will not be held liable for any loss or damage to your vehicle or its contents, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence.
6. Paying for your reservation
Payment must be made in advance to Event Sleeps. It is not possible to settle the hotel charges upon arrival or during check-out for your booking. Any additional expenses, such as Food and Beverage, that you arrange directly with the hotel are your responsibility to pay.
